Transmissions 2048 is a series of audio-visual sculptures, featuring speculative conceptual wearable objects emerging from explorations into how memory, displacement, grief, and resistance morph the body, its extensions, and its ethereal connections. Emerging from within, the sound design drives the movement seen in each sculpture, dictating time, dynamism, and textures. Each audio-visual sculpture is a narrative, part witness, part evidence, part disruption.

انتقال
Channeling the body’s ancestral sound memory, and multi-dimensional, trans-geographical sonic realities, the ear piece provides alternative sonic realities, through ultrasonic sensory mechanisms - similar to that used by moths and other insects - allowing the body to experience sound beyond the human frequency range - the body can reconnect with familiar and unfamiliar soundscapes from the beyond, the imagined, and the no longer existing.
Resurrection
القيامة
The body demands repopulation into the areas of Palestine from which it is being prosecuted and erased. The head piece, born through ethereal connections with Palestine’s native mountain deer - made almost extinct due to Israeli colonial practice - transitions the body into a state of rebirth and repopulation. Transcending physical limitations; the body is able to place itself across multiple geographic locations.
